October 5, 2005 Sovereign Bank Foundation Donates to Incubator The Sovereign Bank Foundation recently awarded a $10,000 grant to the
Pottsville/Schuylkill Technology Incubator over the next 3 years. The Pottsville/Schuylkill Technology Incubator, located at One South Second Street, Pottsville PA, assists start-up technology businesses in their first three to five years of operation. Current tenants of the Incubator include AIS Consulting, Driving Technologies, Emergency Management Solutions, OMI technologies, Schuyl Inc. and Schuylkill Alliance for Health Care Access. The Sovereign Bank Foundation has been assisting non-profits and economic development initiatives throughout the region. Parts of the Foundation's resources are allocated with priority given to requests that benefit low- and moderate-income individuals and communities. Foundation contributions are considered and allocated within the following areas:
The Pottsville/Schuylkill Technology Incubator will utilize the donation for operating expenses of the Incubator.
