How To Start Your Business

1. Initial review & planning
   If you are considering a business it is time to schedule a tour of the Pottsville/Schuylkill Technology Incubator. We will demonstrate the many services and benefits of being in the Incubator.
   

   PSTI staff will also help you begin the process business plan creation, an essential element of starting a new venture, and we will be able to assist you in identifying the resources you require.

2. Business plan development
   Having a solid business plan is essential to the development of a strong business. PSTI staff will assist you in identifying the needed resources to complete your plan. We also have a close relationship with Wilkes University Small Business Development Center, where Ben Kaminski assists in the development and critique of buisness plans free of charge. 3. 15-20 minute presentation to the Board of Directors
   With a strong business plan, a new business will make a 15-20 minute presentation to the PSTI Board of Directors for acceptance to the Incubator and the board will vote, based on the strength of the buisness plan, to either accept the potential tenant, or they will offer suggestions on how to further refine the business plan.
